North Woods Engineering worked closely with the USOC and USA Bobsled to develop a new bobseld push track at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York.  This track is used by USA Bobsled to practice starts in modified bobsleds in the off ice season.

Services included demolition plan, site and grading plan, details, and specifications, for all portions of the development.  Drainage design was also performed, to ensure that ice formation would not develop on the track surface.  Based upon grade information provided by USOC, a track profile with appropriate vertical curves to provide smooth transitions between grade changes was developed.

In addition, bidding and minor construction administration services were provided, on an as-requested basis.
