Lake Placid Conference Center
Lake Placid Conference Center
The construction of a this LEED certified conference center was crucial to the continued success of the Olympic Region in upstate New York. The highly visible Conference Center is now a prominent feature along Main Street in Lake Placid, New York.
The new facility was constructed on the site of a former building. Development included new construction and renovation to develop a three-story, 57,000 square foot building; water and sewer extensions; erosion control and stormwater management; parking facilities, and outdoor plaza areas. Multiple bid packages were prepared to accommodate the project time frame.
North Woods Engineering provided services from the schematic design phase forward. The services included full site and structural design, plans, details, specifications and permitting for all portions of the site and building development. We also coordinated with the Owner, Architect, M/E/P consultant, and Construction Manager. We provided construction administration services as requested by ORDA and the Construction Manager.
